Vinca rosea
The vinca flower provides instant color wherever it grows. The clear crisp flat blooms and glossy green leaves appear on top of 12- to 15-inch stems are so perfect. Vinca rosea occasionally called periwinkle.
How To care
Light: Grows best in mostly shade but flowers best with more sunlight.
Water: Water as needed to keep the soil moist in the summer.
Fertilizer: Fertilize the plants once a month with a 10-10-10 nitrogen, phosphorous, potassium water-soluble fertilizer.
Temperature: cannot tolerate temperatures that fall below about 10°C (50°F).
Potting: Plant the Vinca periwinkle along the edges of your pot, The seed should be sown in normal potting soil and covered with a thin layer of sand.
Pruning: snip out dead or damaged stems as they occur throughout the growing season.
