Asparagus Plant Hanging
There are many varieties of asparagus ferns belong to the family Liliaceae and is a relative of lilies, but this one Asparagus densiflorus ‘Sprengeri’, has fine, soft needles on long stems.
How To Care
Light: Place potted ferns where it receives bright but indirect sunlight, either indoors or outdoors. Good for outdoor areas like balconies and back yard gardens.
Water: Keep the soil evenly moist, watering about twice per week and reduce watering during the winter seasons
Fertilizer: fertilize to encourage the growth once a month with liquid or water-soluble all-purpose plant food diluted to 1/2 strength.
Temperature: Try to maintain a warm temperature around 70 degrees Fahrenheit.
Potting: Keep an Asparagus Fern root-bound in small pots to encourage the long graceful stems to grow
Pruning: Asparagus ferns have a tendency to become leggy, so pinch back strangling stems at any time to improve the growth.
