Bougainvillea Ball Shape
Having a bougainvillea in your garden is always joyful due to the gorgeous flush of color. These beautiful vines are rapid growers and climbers, and they’re better suited to drier climes, it can be grown on a trellis or fence, in containers, as a hedge or ground cover, in tree form, and as a bonsai.
How To Care
Light:Â Needs at least 6 hours of full sun a day to flower profusely.
Water:Â It prefers deep watering every 3-4 weeks.
Fertilizer:Â When planting feeds them with compost, and every year or 2.
Temperature: It doesn’t like to go below 30 degrees F and definitely not for a prolonged period of time.
Potting:Â Can pot-bound and re-pot into larger pots, the taller ones need a very large pot to accommodate the large root systems.
Pruning:Â Do lighter pruning, after every flowering cycle during the seasons.
