Bougainvillea Pink Pixie
Having a Bougainvillea Pink Pixie paper flower is a member of the Nyctaginaceae family. It is a true dwarf form of the huge tropical vines that are star performers in tropical gardens and is used to provide a bright splash of color in bonsai gardens.
How To Care
Light: Needs at least 6 hours of full sun a day to flower profusely.
Water: It prefers deep watering every 3-4 weeks.
Fertilizer: When planting feeds them with compost, and every year or 2.
Temperature: It doesn’t like to go below 30 degrees F and definitely not for a prolonged period of time.
Potting: Can pot-bound and re-pot into larger pots, the taller ones need a very large pot to accommodate the large root systems.
Pruning: Do lighter pruning, after every flowering cycle during the seasons.
