Coleus
Coleus is grown for its most stunningly colored foliage rather than a flower in combinations of green, yellow, pink, red, maroon, etc. This is an outstanding mixture formulated to provide the best and brightest colors of medium-sized leaf varieties.
Planting & CareÂ
SunLight:Â Â the best leaf color is achieved with morning sun and some degree of afternoon shade. Many varieties do well in both shade and part-sun.
Soil:Â Moist, well-drained, pH 5.6 – 7.5, Avoid overly damp soils, which can cause leaf drop and encourage disease.
Water:Â Â Water regularly. Coleus is thirsty plants, so keep the soil moist.Â
Fertilizer:Â Fertilise with a diluted (50% mix) liquid fertilizer, too much feeding with high nitrogen fertilizers, encourages soft growth and poorer quality foliage.
Temperature:Â Coleus performs best in temperatures between 60 and 75 F. (16-24 C).
