Custard Apple – Seetaphal is tropical fruit from a small tree, native to Central and South America, known for its sweet, creamy, white flesh with a custard-like taste and appearance. The fruit is segmented and contains large, inedible black seeds. It’s rich in vitamins C and B, fiber, potassium, and magnesium, with a low glycemic index. While eaten fresh, it’s also used in desserts, smoothies, and ice cream. To ripen it, a firm-to-the-touch fruit should be left at room temperature.
