Planting & Care
Light: The Ficus Elastica Variegated prefers bright, indirect light. Avoid exposing it to direct, harsh sunlight for extended periods, as this can scorch the leaves and cause damage.
Water:Â Allow the top of the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it’s important not to let the plant sit in waterlogged soil.
Fertilizer: Fertilize the plant every 4-6 weeks with a balanced, water-soluble liquid fertilizer containing Nitrogen, Phosphorus, and Potassium (N-P-K).
Temperature: Maintain a consistent indoor temperature between 65°F to 75°F
Potting: The pot should be slightly larger than the root ball of the plant, but not too large, as this can also lead to waterlogging. the pot should have drainage hole also.
Pruning: Pruning the roots helps prevent overcrowding in the pot.
