Plumbago
The plumbago plant or Plumbago auriculata grows in the warmer climates are part of the Plumbaginaceae Family. Also known as the Cape plumbago or sky flower Blue plumbago has a fast-growing, sprawling habit and semi-woody perennial shrub that produces an abundance of royal blue flowers, almost all year round.
How To Care
Light: will do well in either sun or partial shade.
Water:Â after establishment, water deeply (3/4 inch) twice a month
Fertilizer: never need much fertilize it each spring
Temperature: ideal temperature 60-80° F
Potting: Add this shrub to a sunny spot in your yard November through March
Pruning: once in early March and once in late August. Prune ½ of the plant in early spring and ¼ of the plant in late summer.
