Light: It doesn’t require direct sunlight, a location with bright, filtered light is ideal for this plant. It can tolerate some lower light conditions but may grow more slowly in such situations.
Water:Â It’s important to allow the top inch of the soil to dry out between waterings. Overwatering can lead to root rot, so it’s better to let the soil dry slightly before watering again. During the spring and summer, you may need to water more frequently, possibly every 1-2 weeks.
Fertilizer: During the spring and summer, fertilize the plant every 4-6 weeks. This helps provide the essential nutrients it needs for healthy growth and it’s generally advisable to use a diluted fertilizer solution to prevent over-fertilization. Water the plant first to ensure the roots are moist. Then, apply the diluted fertilizer solution to the soil. Avoid getting fertilizer on the leaves.
Temperature: Rubber Plants prefer temperatures between 65°F to 80°F during the day and night between 55°F to 65°F.
