Conocarpus is a genus of two species of flowering plants in the family Combretaceae. Conocarpus are dense multiple-trunked shrubs or small to medium-sized trees from 1 to 20 m tall. It is the most favorite variety of plants for making a hedge on boundaries. it does not shed its leaves much & makes a natural green wall if pruned with skill.
Planting & Care
Sunlight: Grow the tree in sunny sites. When grown indoors, it needs plentiful light.
Soil: Requires well-drained soil
Water: Normal, Can tolerate less, Can tolerate more
Fertilizer: Apply liquid fertilizer or slow-release fertilizer once in 15 days. Always fertilizer the plants during the morning hours when the temperature is low.
Temperature: Ideal temperature for their healthy growth must be20 – 40 degrees Celsius
Pruning: Be sure to trim the plant after the bloom starts
